There has been a shift in interior design and if you haven’t already seen you can check out what I’m talking about here. Call it maximalism, original or a revival! It might not be for everyone but it’s a switch from the classic transitional look. Wall coverings are definitely helping with that come back!
In hopefully what will become spring soon I had a look at some of wall coverings that give that seasonal feel. There are so many great options on Etsy which I was surprised about. Their wall coverings are so pretty! Watch out for the delivery costs for the because they’re coming from all over the world. Most of the companies offer sample sizes before you decide to fork out on full multiple rolls.
If you are thinking to take a leap some of the wall coverings are self adhesive and removable. So it’s easier to apply and remove if needed. looking for inspiration to see how some patterns look in a space or considering actually making a change yourself have a look at my favourites below…
Yes, the majority of the wall coverings that I have chosen are floral or botanical! But how could they not be for Spring season? I think they patterns are amazing. The way they have all been styled are with just enough impact but not overbearing. It depends totally on the size of the room and the light source. You can click on this link for more tips on that are tied to the maximalist style.
